Proper training from the start
All new Friona Industries employees undergo BQA training during their onboarding before interacting with any cattle at the feedlots. In addition, all 3rd-party cattle processing crews also maintain BQA certification.
Continued learning
Annual BQA certification is a requirement for all 400 feedyard employees at Friona Industries to confirm our commitment to continued animal care knowledge. Low-stress cattle handling training is also conducted regularly with any employees who handle cattle.
